Hudson Valley Hospital Center Thinks Pink!

October is breast cancer awareness month. On Thursday, October 1st dozens of Hospital staff members tied pink ribbons and bows around the campus of the Hospital. The tying of the ribbons kicked-off the start of a month-long awareness with various events scheduled at the Hospital for staff, patients and visitors. At Hudson Valley Hospital Center we believe early detection is key to survival. Regular mammograms, clinical breast exams and self exams are tools available to protect your health. The Hospital hopes the pink ribbons will remind women to schedule an annual mammogram.

The Hospital offers both digital and traditional mammograms, in addition to breast ultra sound and MRI breast imaging and weekend and evening appointments are available. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call the Breast Care Center at HVHC (914) 734-3674 or visit one of our satellite facilities: Waterside Diagnostic Imaging – (914) 528-6820 or The Medical Center at Croton – (914) 271-9481.
