Hudson Valley Hospital Center Adds to the Senior Management Team

Cortlandt Manor, NY …Edmund Coletti, of Mohegan Lake, has been appointed Vice President, Facilities at Hudson Valley Hospital Center (HVHC), John C. Federspiel, President of HVHC, announced today. In this newly created role, Coletti will oversee all of facilities management, construction design, buildings, equipment and grounds for the Hospital.

“The Hospital will have nearly doubled its size when our $100 million renovation and expansion project is complete,” said Federspiel. “Ed’s experience and background will be instrumental to completing our construction and preserving the extraordinary environment we’ve created at the Hospital.”

Prior to joining Hudson Valley Hospital Center, Mr. Coletti was Executive Director of design, construction and facilities management at the Pratt Institute where he managed the design and construction of a 150,000 square foot “LEED GOLD” building. From 2001 – 2008, Coletti worked in healthcare management for the New York State Department of Health, where he was Director of Facilities Management and then Senior Vice President of Operations at Helen Hayes Hospital, where he oversaw a five-year, $200-million capital improvement program for the Hospital.

Coletti also served as Hospital Safety Officer and chair of the Safety Committee for Helen Hayes. He possesses extensive electrical engineering experience, working 16 years as an employee of the New York Power Authority in various supervisory roles.

Coletti holds a master’s degree in engineering from Polytechnic University of New York and a bachelor’s degree in engineer technology from University of New York State, Albany. He is a registered Professional Engineer.
