Cortlandt Manor, NY - (June 14, 2011) –Hudson Valley Hospital Center’s advertising campaign highlighting the hospital’s emphasis on always putting the patient first has won five awards in two recent advertising competitions.
On June 8, Hudson Valley Hospital Center was presented with one silver and two bronze awards at the Advertising Club of Westchester’s 2011 Big "W" competition. Jody and Diane Creative Communications developed the campaign to help promote the Hospital’s unveiling of a $100 million expansion and renovation completed last June.
The silver award was for the best multi-channel integrated campaign, which included television, radio, magazine and newspaper ads; and the bronze awards were for best local cable television commercial and best series of magazine ads.
"Patientology embodies what this Hospital is all about: providing personalized, compassionate care to our patients," said John C. Federspiel, President of Hudson Valley Hospital Center. "This recognition, along with our consistently high patient satisfaction scores, validates our approach to the way we practice medicine here at HVHC."

The Big “W” Awards competition is open to advertising, marketing, and PR agencies, designers, photographers, and students who create advertising in and/or for businesses and organizations in the Tri-State (New Jersey, New York and Connecticut) region.

Nearly 4,000 entries were received from across the nation in this year's competition, making the awards the largest healthcare advertising awards competition.
