Hudson Valley Hospital Center walks for Support Connection Oct. 2

Cortlandt Manor – (Oct. 3, 2011) – More than 150 Hudson Valley Hospital Center employees as well as doctors, employees, family members and patients of the Ashikari Breast Center at Hudson Valley Hospital Center joined the thousands of people who participated in Sunday’s Support Connection Support-A-Walk. The 3-mile walk at FDR Park in Yorktown Heights helps to raise funds for Breast and Ovarian Cancer.

“Support Connection has provided help and hope to so many women in their battles against cancer, and we are proud to partner with them,’’ said Kathy Webster, HVHC’s Vice President of Patient Services. “With the opening of our Cancer Center, we are committed to providing the community with comprehensive, compassionate cancer care that is close to home.’’
