A $12 Million Investment for
New Cancer Center and Medical Office Building
Our Goal: Raising Funds To Keep Our Patients Close To Home
NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital seeks to raise $5 million over the next three years to fund the construction, technology and furnishing of the state-of-the-art Cheryl R. Lindenbaum Comprehensive Cancer Center. This campaign is managed by the hospital’s Foundation Board and a Campaign Steering Committee comprised of local and regional leaders.
Building On Excellence Phase II, follows the successful $16 million campaign for the hospital’s $100 million major expansion and renovation program that was completed in June 2010. Initial goal was $12 million. Phase II plans to build on the excitement and success of the first phase and to attract donors who want to fund a local cancer program.
Construction on the 54,000 square-foot Cancer Center and Medical Office Building began in the fall of 2010 and opened its doors in November 2011.
This Campaign will permit the hospital to make purchases and nearly fund the $7 million program investment. Hospital leadership needs to fund the program at this level because other critical programs need renovation such as the facility’s Intensive Care Unit. Leadership plans to begin and complete this complicated ICU program in the next two to three years.
