Whether flesh and blood or stuffed, patients get the best care at Hudson Valley Hospital Center. To celebrate the completion of its $100 million renovation, the hospital held Family Day on Saturday, June 26. There were free blood pressure screenings, giveaways, face painting, refreshments, entertainment and tours for the whole community. Patients got the royal treatment on June 30 when the entire staff of Hudson Valley Hospital Center moved them into their new deluxe, private rooms. HVHC opened its new four-story patient tower on June 24 and wasted no time in getting everyone into new quarters. More than 70 patients were moved into their new rooms in less than 6 hours.

Helen, who was here from Michigan to attend a family graduation, said: “The President of the hospital came to visit me this morning and brought me the newspaper. I thought that was wonderful. This room is beautiful. It was the best sleep I had in days.”
