Help for Heel Pain

The heel bone is the largest of the 26 bones in the human foot, which also has 33 joints and a network of more than 100 tendons, muscles, and ligaments so a lot can go wrong. Dr. Ma, an orthopedic foot surgeon, will discuss the heel and what you can do to deal with your heel pain. This free program is being held June 9 at 6 p.m. Click here to register.

Acid Reflux Alternatives
Surgeon Dr. Eric Sommer will discuss the latest developments in the treatment of acid reflux disease. Many patients with chronic acid reflux who have been taking medications for years are looking for alternative treatments. Dr. Sommer will discuss minimally invasive surgery to permanently treat acid reflux disease. Many chronic sufferers may find that medication no longer works as effectively or results in side effects such as diarrhea or predisposition to osteoporosis.
