Support Connection Support Group

Third Monday of the Month 7 p.m.

Women with Breast Cancer are invited to attend a monthly support group at the Cheryl R. Lindenbaum Cancer Center. Run by Support Connection, the group's meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the third Monday of the month. Lindenbaum Cancer Center at the Hospital, 1978 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY. Pre-registration is required.

Lymphedema Support Group

The Hospital offers a support group for people with Lymphedema, a condition of localized fluid retention and tissue swelling caused by a compromised lymphatic system. The Hospital’s licensed clinical social worker and a Lymphedema therapist will provide men and women who are struggling with Lymphedema due to cancer surgery with emotional and educational support.

The group is led by Jen Looby, MS, PT, CLT, Physical Therapist/Senior Certified Lymphedema Therapist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital’s Center for Rehabilitation and Miranda Dold, LCSW, Director of Community Programs at Gilda’s Club Westchester.

Gilda's Club Support Groups

Living with Cancer

First and Third Thursdays of the month,  6-7:30 p.m.

Gilda's Club Westchester at the Hospital offers a support group for people who have been recently diagnosed with cancer on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Cheryl R. Lindenbaum Cancer Center at 1978 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor. Pre-registration is required. For more information, call 914-644-8844.
