Asim Aijaz,MD
Dr. Asim Aijaz, a highly respected oncologist with Westchester Oncology and Hematology, is director of oncology services at the Cheryl R. Lindenbaum Cancer Center. Dr. Aijaz is Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine at New York Medical College in Valhalla and an attending physician/Lymphoma and Bone Marrow Transplant there. He is a member of the American Board of Medical Oncology, the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Aijaz completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center. He received his medical degree from The Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan

Chika Madu, MD
Dr. Chika Madu, a radiation oncologist with Hudson Valley Radiation Oncology Services, is the Medical Director for Radiation Oncology at the Cheryl R. Lindenbaum Cancer Center. Dr. Madu most recently served as Assistant Professor and Chief of Breast Service, in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Georgetown University Hospital, in Washington, DC. She was also the Residency Program Director in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Georgetown. Dr. Madu completed her residency program in Radiation Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and earned her Medical Degree at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor. Her primary interest is in all adult cancers and she also performs partial breast irradiation. She has a strong background in research and has been published in peer reviewed journals.

Jeffrey Ambinder, MD
Dr. Jeffrey Ambinder of Hudson Valley Hematology and Oncology Associates is formerly an assistant professor of medicine at New York Medical College. He graduated from NYU Medical School and completed his residency in internal medicine followed by a fellowship in oncology/hematology at Duke.



Hudson Valley Hospital Center is accredited by the Joint Commission, a national organization that sets high standards for patient care and safety. PUBLIC NOTICE: The Joint Commission conducts accreditation surveys of all hospitals.
