You want to “get back to normal.” We can help.
At The Centers for Rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital, physical therapists design personalized programs to help patients regain skills and get back to everyday life.
Professional. Dedicated. Compassionate. Convenient. That’s how patients describe The Centers – and it’s no wonder. Our organization is a participating member of the Hospital for Special Surgery Rehabilitation Network and our highly trained physical therapists hold prestigious accreditations attesting to their expertise. Each team member offers specialized skills, significant experience and a dedication to improving patients’ lives.
Patients come to us with orthopedic injuries and knee or hip replacements; back problems, arthritis, cardiac conditions and more. They are even looking for help with dizziness, vertigo and women’s incontinence – problems many physical therapy offices don’t handle. We do – because The Centers is large enough to have therapists with years of experience in many different areas.
A physical therapist will work with you to find the techniques, treatments and exercises that can best help you. And, because we are a hospital-based program, you can be confident that we have met stringent requirements set by the state and national accrediting groups.
Our main location at the hospital is a new, state-of-the-art physical therapy facility located just steps away from parking. Offering easy access to patients, the facility operates an extended schedule – hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. - that makes it easy to fit therapy into your life.
Our three locations in Westchester and Putnam counties provide physical therapy, including joint replacement and sports rehabilitation therapy. Specialized programs, including occupational therapy, pelvic floor rehabilitation, hand therapy, lymphedema management, scoliosis management, and vestibular rehabilitation are available in some locations. Most insurance plans are accepted at all locations.
