The region’s only full service state-of-the-art 24-hour "no wait" emergency department. Also provides a certified stroke center to handle life-threatening emergencies. Doubled in size during 2012 expansion program to 39 treatment bays, the hospital Emergency Department is the second busiest emergency service in Westchester.
A new state of the art, all digital Surgery Center was constructed as part of the hospital’s major renovation and expansion project. The Center has six operating rooms, with 14 same day bays and 10 PACU bays.
A 10-bed Intensive Care Unit and a family area provides around the clock care. Plans for this area include a major renovation.
Our Progressive Care Unit is an extension of the Intensive Care Unit and provides point of care computerized technology with 14 beds, several equipped with bariatric lifts, beds and visitor furniture.
Our Maternity Center features designer decorated private rooms with full bath. Hudson Valley remains the only hospital in the region with whirlpool tubs for pain management and birthing in each of our labor rooms. A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is part of the Women's Pavilion. Rooming-in for moms and dads is a popular choice. It is the only center in Westchester/Putnam to be recognized for breastfeeding support by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners and will shortly receive the Baby Friendly designation from Baby Friendly USA for its breast feeding initiatives.
The John M. Zarcone Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center is an individualized program to meet the cardiac and pulmonary fitness needs of patients who have suffered a heart attack, angina, heart surgery or suffer from COPD.
A newly constructed, state of the art, rehabilitation center provides physical therapy and occupational therapy by a team of certified professionals. Services are also located at satellite locations and The Center s a member of the Hospital for Special Surgery network.
State-of-the-art angiography, mammography, Digital mammography, MRI, Extra Wide MRI, PET Scanning, CT, ultrasound are just a few of the diagnostic capabilities offered. Also, iCAD (Computer Aided Detection) for a second look in the early detection of breast cancer and digital tomosynthesis for patients at high risk of cancer and women with dense breasts. A spa-like Women’s Imaging Department is located in our Medical Office Building/Cancer Center and is connected to the Ashikari Breast Center.

the hospital’s Institute for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine now features three oversized hyperbaric chambers and is accredited by the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society. It is the only comprehensive center which includes board certified plastic and vascular surgeons.
Now on staff at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital are the surgeons of the New York Bariatric Group, among the country's leading bariatric surgeons, offering the latest in minimally invasive weight loss surgery. The New York Bariatric Group provides surgical options such as laparoscopic banding, sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass. All these procedures are now being performed in our minimally invasive surgery center, which offers the latest technology.
A new Digestive Health Center also opened in 2012. The new 4,500 square foot space includes an endoscopic ambulatory surgery center with two procedure rooms.
The Center for Sleep Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital offers the most advanced sleep diagnostic services.
