16 Slice CAT Scan

Hudson Valley Hospital Center has two CT scanners, the most advanced diagnostic machines on the market, which produce 16 slices with each tube rotation. In addition, the data collected is advanced enough to permit CT angiography, virtual colonoscopy, full body, and coronary artery calcification scoring. Our Yorktown facility has aquired a 64-slice CT.

Hudson Valley Hospital Center was the first facility in Westchester to offer the most advanced imaging technology currently available. CAT Scans allow healthcare professionals to see inside the brain, heart, lungs, liver, colon - all vital organs that cannot ordinarily be seen with an x-ray exam.
