Two Hundred Attend Art of Having a Baby Maternity Fair

 

Cortlandt Manor, NY - (May 22, 2012) About 200 prospective parents came out on Sunday, May 20th to Hudson Valley Hospital Center’s 2nd Annual “Art of Having a Baby” Maternity Fair.  The day was filled with activities for everyone to enjoy- from educational workshops by HVHC maternity experts, a fashion show for moms and vendors who offered a range of products and services for everyone in the family.

Sponsors included Kohl’s, I Luv My Kids, Margaret Rizzuto Photography, New England Financial, Tutor Time Child Care Center, and Westchester Medical Practice.

Child safety expert Allison Rhodes, founder of Safety Mom, who discussed ways to keep children – from infants to teens – safe.

This year’s fair took a “retro” twist with an antique and historical photo display of important maternity milestones at Hudson Valley Hospital Center, which first opened its doors in 1889.  Tours were given of Hudson Valley Hospital Center’s Women’s Pavilion for Birthing.

The big winner of the day was Emma Latronica of Beacon who walked away with the grand prize of a crib with a mattress and bed set valued at $1,000 donated by I Luv My Kids.
