Support Connection Reiki Program
Wednesday, May 15, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Cheryl R Lindenbaum Cancer Center

Reiki is an ancient holistic practice that promotes stress reduction, relaxation and well-being. The word ‘Reiki’ comes from two Japanese words which translate to “universal life force,” an energy found within all things - people, animals, plants, rocks, trees...even the earth itself. Reiki practitioners channel that life force, allowing the recipient to utilize the body’s own natural ability to reduce stress and anxiety.

In this program, you will learn about the history and uses of Reiki, basic meditation and breathing techniques, and how to use Reiki on your own.

Instructor Michelle Carter owns Westchester Putnam Reiki and has practiced Reiki since 2006. She is a Reiki Master in both the Usui and Celtic Reiki traditions. For more information, visit www.westchesterPutnamReiki.com.
